Large Nest Chocolate Mold

One look at this nest and you can practically hear the candy eggs rattling around inside. The cavity has a twirled “woven” look all the way through, with a deeper spiral center and wider, looping ridges around the rim, so the finished piece reads like a real little basket from every angle.

At 5 1/2 inches across and a full inch deep, it’s sized for centerpiece-style chocolate work. Fill the bowl with dragées, chocolate eggs, truffles, or molded chicks and bunnies, then finish the top edge with a flick of cocoa butter color to highlight the swirl texture.
