Peppermint Bark Recipe: Your Shortcut to Holiday Hero Status
Looking for a super easy, crowd-pleasing treat that practically shouts “holiday cheer”? Say hello to Peppermint Bark — the sweet, minty classic that’s as fun to make as it is to share. This version is a total breeze and perfect for gifting, snacking, or stealing the show at your next cookie swap. All you need is a couple of key ingredients and a half hour of chill time (literally!).
Ingredients
Instructions
- Melt the white coatings until smooth. Our recommended method is in the microwave, but you can also do this in a double boiler if you prefer.
- Stir in the peppermint ice until evenly mixed.
- Spread the mixture onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet in an even layer, creating "bark".
- Pop the tray into the fridge and chill for 15-30 minutes, or until fully set. Timing will be dependent on the thickness of your bark; thicker will result in a longer set time.
- Once firm, break the bark into rustic, shareable pieces.
- Package it up for gifts, party trays, or your personal snack stash. Just try not to eat it all at once!
Bonus: This simple recipe makes you the official Christmas Hero. Cape not included.
